Destiny - Xur's Location for October 7-9 2016

Find Xur, the Agent of the Nine, hanging out in Tower North.

Xur, also known as the Agent of the Nine, is probably the most popular vendor in Destiny. He tends to leave Guardians disappointed a lot, but every now and then he comes through with the goods. This week, Xur has arrived and brought some toys that almost any Guardian will find valuable, since two of them are brand new Exotics introduced with Rise of Iron.

 Where is Xur?

Xur's location is Tower North, not far from where you'd find The Speaker.

Xur is located in the Tower. Spawn in and turn to your left, running up the stairs and heading into the Tower North building. Make your way towards The Speaker, but instead of turning left to visit him, keep running straight and you’ll find Xur standing by the railing. An alternative method to finding him would be to look at your radar and head towards the 15 Guardians standing in a small group.

 Exotic Gear

Xur is selling two Rise of Iron Exotics. Make sure to grab them if they haven't already dropped.

 What to Buy?

If you’re like us and you’re packing 200 Strange Coins, you should buy anything that you don’t have. We collect every Exotic in the game, even if we’re not planning on using it. Patches and tweaks made by Bungie will change the Destiny meta, so grab it all if you can afford it. Check what exotics you have by loading each character and visiting the kiosk in the Hall of Guardians (where you find Cayde-6).

Should you be on a budget, grab the armor pieces you don’t have first, and Thunderlord last if you can still afford it. What armor piece you should focus on depends on what class you tend to play, but from a strictly functional standpoint, the Thagomizers are probably your best bet here.

Now that you’re ready to crush your foes in PvP, read up on LevelCamp’s Iron Banner Guide and get busy raising your Light as quickly as you can.
