Over the years, the Call of Duty franchise has become known for its high quality live-action game trailers which often feature appearances from major sports and movie celebrities. Today, Call of Duty posted the newest live-action trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on Twitter, successfully checking off all those boxes and then some.
The trailer is cheekily titled “Screw It, Let’s Go To Space,” and takes a jab at the many contentious events that have befallen our country over the past year, while also highlighting the main thing separating Infinite Warfare from previous Call of Duty titles—it’s outer space setting.
Several key gameplay elements from Infinite Warfare are also shown, including thrilling space-based aerial dog fights, new-age gadgets, and futuristic weaponry. Towards the end of the trailer, we get to see Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps psyche himself up for a head-on assault before his grand plans are thwarted by none other than comedy actor Danny McBride (HBO’s Vice Principals).
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch on November 4th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. If you want to see more live-action mayhem, be sure to check out our previous coverage of Dishonored 2’s recently released live-action trailer.
