Bethesda and Id Software have announced that the second premium DLC pack for DOOM, titled “Hell Followed,” is now available on all platforms.
The Hell Followed pack includes a plethora of new content for DOOM’s competitive multiplayer mode. For players looking for some new maps to frag their enemies on, there are three included in the Hell Followed DLC: Argent Breach, Orbital, and Molten. There’s also a versatile-looking new gun called the Reaper, a new Threat Pulse equipment item which highlights nearby enemies, new hack modules, and a bunch of new cosmetic customization items such as armor sets, taunts, colors, and armor patterns. Lastly, players can now play as the floating Cacodemon if they manage to secure a demonic rune during a competitive match.
To celebrate the release of Hell Followed, Id Software is also hosting a double XP weekend for DOOM’s multiplayer, which will begin tomorrow, October 28th and runs until Monday, October 31st. The Hell Followed DLC pack is free to those who purchased DOOM’s Season Pass and costs $14.99 as a standalone purchase.
