Dishonored 2 Has Gone Gold

PC system requirements have been revealed.

Bethesda and Arkane Studios have announced that Dishonored 2 has officially gone gold, signaling the end of development ten days before the game’s full launch.

The news that Dishonored 2 has gone gold was announced via Bethesda’s website. Now that Dishonored 2 has attained gold status, Bethesda can start focusing on getting the game ready for its public debut and Arkane can begin focusing on the downloadable content they undoubtedly plan to release further down the road.

To celebrate Dishonored 2’s newly-attained gold status, Arkane revealed the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game’s PC version. The requirements are as follows (text courtesy of Arkane):

Minimum:

  • Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
  • 8 GB RAM; 60 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB or better
  • Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam is required to run the game.
  • Requires Steam activation.

Recommended:

  • Windows 10 (64-bit versions); Intel Core i7-4770/AMD FX-8350 or better
  • 16 GB RAM; 60 GB free HDD space; NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB or better
  • Contains a single disc. Download of additional files from Steam is required to run the game.
  • Requires Steam activation.

  • AMD: 16.10.2

Dishonored 2 will launch on November 11th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. If you pre-order the game, you can start playing an entire day early on November 10th.
