New 'Live Fire' DLC Coming To Titanfall 2

Respawn Entertainment has announced New Titanfall DLC which includes a new Game Mode, 3 Maps, and updated settings.

Respawn Entertainment has announced a new update to coming to Titanfall 2 multiplayer, which is bringing new content and fixing some features within the game.

In Respawn’s official statement, they stated that they will be “introducing a brand-new mode called Live” which will be “a lightning fast 6v6 Pilot only mode that brings competitive, close quarter combat to the forefront”. Respawn then went into more detail stating it will be “a round-based best of 5 mode with no respawns” and “you will have one minute to eliminate the opposing team in order to win the round”. Respawn is hoping that this mode will be “fast, frantic, and sure to help hone” your “teamwork and mobility skills”.

Respawn Entertainment has also announced that they're introducing two brand new maps to the new Titanfall 2 DLC, which are designed specifically for their new game mode. The two new maps have simply been called 'Stacks' and 'Meadow'. These maps will be playable only in the Live Fire playlist and ahve been designed carefully to play more fast-paced than the current maps.

Titanfall 2 will also be receiving a brand-new Coliseum map called 'Columns', as well as another Pilot execution and multiple Commander intros for each faction. Respawn stated that “we’ll have more details on when you’ll be getting your hand on this soon and everything this update will be free for all Titanfall 2 players”.

After looking over fan feedback, Respawn agrees that they need to make a significant update to their playlist interface within Titanfall 2, and they've announced that they're taking all the appropiate actions. Respawn claims their “team has been working to introduce a brand new interface for the next content drop on consoles and possibly a bit earlier on PC so we can test it out”.

Below you can see a work in progress of how their new interface is going to look.

Respawn ended their announcement with saying that the rest of the update details are still “highly classified, but hopefully you are starting to get a sense at how we’re planning to support Titanfall 2 post-launch”.

With this huge update coming to Titanfall 2, it reassures players of the community that Respawn will be keeping promises by maintaining and releasing continuos free content in Titanfall 2.
