Razer's Stolen Prototype Project Valerie Triple Monitor Laptop Listed for more than $20,000 on Chinese Website

Two days ago, we released the news explaining how winners of Best of CES 2017: Razer, had two of their ‘Project Valerie’ prototypes stolen from the showroom floor. Project Valerie was the hot topic of CES 2017 being the first triple monitor gaming laptop.

News has just surfaced that one of the stolen prototypes is now being listed for sale on the popular Chinese retail site: Taobao. The prototypes are being posted for sale illegally at a price of $21,742 which is near the amount that Razer is offering as a reward for the return of the device.

Razer’s CEO: Min-Liang Tan posted on Facebook about how much their team has worked on these devices and how heart-breaking this situation is to them.

Hopefully, Razer will be reunited with their beloved super-machines and the tech industry can experience these amazing creations.
