Horizon Zero Dawn Full Map, Locations, Tribes, Leaked!

NEW Leaked Information regarding Horizon Zero Dawn's Full Map, Locations, Tribes!

Horizon Zero Dawn is an upcoming open world by Guerrilla Games which are most famous for the Killzone franchise. Sony's new first party title is less than three weeks away and with most games, this close to release leaks are bound to happen eventually. In this brand new leak, we get our first look at the scale of the map as well as the three primary locations and the tribes.

It's hard to judge the full scale of the map by just looking at this image. However, I will say it does seem very promising but so did Far Cry Primal and we all know how that one turned out. Honestly, if you renamed the locations on the map to Solitude, Winterhold, and Riften I would be convinced I was looking at a map of Skyrim which isn't necessarily a bad thing. If it's anything near the scale of Skyrim, I would say it's a great world size; my guess is that it's a bigger than Skyrim. We are in the year 2017 and developers are known to push the envelope in regards to the scale of their open worlds, for instance, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt. I'm sure we will know the exact square footage of the map before its late February release just to find out that it is indeed nowhere near the scale of Witcher 3 #CDProjektRed4Life.

Horizon Zero Dawn has three central locations as seen in the picture above, If you look at the northwest corner of the map, you will see one of the three primary areas called Sunfall. NeoGAF users are speculating that the picture below is what Sunfall looks like this is just speculation so take that information with a grain of salt.

The next main location in Horizon Zero Dawn is called Meridian, and it is directly south of Sunfall here is what the Meridian Village might look. If you take a look at the map Meridian seems to be in a Jungle type terrain which sounds like it is going to be the best part of the map to traverse through.

The last location is called Mother's Heart which is in a mountainous region on the southeast side of the map. We don't have any details of this area except that it is in the heart of a vast mountain range, but I guess that's why they called it Mother's Heart.

Without knowing any details regarding the map, everything that I've seen makes me extremely optimistic about the release of Horizon Zero Dawn although I had those same feelings with Far Cry Primal. It will be interesting to see how Horizon does up against The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild these two juggernauts are releasing very close to each other and it will be interesting to see which one comes out on top. Horizon Zero Dawn releases on February 28th only on the Playstation 4.
