In order to understand the Knight Faction, we have to understand what the Knight Faction is and what is happening in the For Honor world.
The Knight faction ‘’were sent by the Iron Legions to pacify the land. They’ve since acquired a taste of freedom and have made Ashfeld their home. They believe many – if not all – of the ancient ruins that cover their lands were built by the Greay Empire, the precursor of the Iron Legion.’’ ‘’So far, the Knights have managed to defend Ashfeld from Vikings and Samurai attacks. Apollyon argues that a threat of war is imminent and tells stragglers that joining her Legion is the only guarantee they will hold on their land.’’
One of the reasons why the Knights have managed to defend Ashfeld from the Samurai and Vikings attacks is because the Knight faction is unique in characteristics (knowledge, strength, hope and stability). The characteristics for the Knights clearly point towards a defensive playstyle, which is why they have managed to survive the attacks from the Samurai and Vikings for so long. The emblem significances confirms this even more: order, ancestral roots and protection. So if you are a defensive player and want to protect your castle, the Knights Faction is for you. But lets take a closer look at the Knights faction and break down its four characters individually.
‘’conqueros are ex-prisoners and forced conscripts who have risen to the rank of elite soldier. They destabilize and overcome opponents through multiple defensive abilities and infinite attacks.’’
‘’The Wardens are powerful, noble warriors dedicated to the defense of their land and their people. Wardens are jack-of-all-trade knights who roam the battlefield with their impressive longswords.’’
‘’Peacekeepers are quick, lethal and can win a fight before their enemy even knows they are there. It takes a special type of warrior to be a silent blade.’’
‘’The lawbringer combines the feature of a Heavy and a Vanguard Hero. Strong but extremely effective at counter-attacking.’’
To sum it up, the Knights is the best team for playing defensive and counter attacks from the Samurai and the Vikings. If you want to find out more about For Honor, check out our For Honor guides here.
