What is the best Faction in For Honor – The Samurai Faction

Is the Samurai faction the best faction in For Honor? We’ll be taking a look at that in this post.

To defeat all other factions, you need to know which factions suits you the best, this way you know how to approach your enemy and easily defeat them. To know all of this we have to find out what the Samurai faction stands for, what they’re good at and what makes them unique.

‘’Originally from a land far away across the seas, they tell a tale of an Emperor and a homeland lost to sea and fire, Nearly a millennium later, the nomadic nation has ceased its wandering and built a new empire near the reclaimed homelands of the Vikings and the contested lands of the Knights. Having spent the last decades acclimating to the marshy hills known as the Myre, they flourish but remain vastly outnumbered by their neighbors. They have to rely on greater martial skill, cunning and devotion to their culture to survive – for they may be the last of their kind".

The story explains that the Samurai isn’t a faction that will win by having a larger group. Instead, the Samurai warriors are decreasing and have to rely on ‘’greater martial skill, cunning and devotion to their culture’’ to win from the Vikings and Knights, who have a larger amount of soldiers. The story also shows us that the Samurai stands for ‘’ Immortality, spirituality, control and serenity which is confirmed by the emblem significances even further.

If you are an assassin type of player who can’t choose between playing offensive and defensive, this Faction is for you. The Samurai Faction is a faction where you assassinate the enemies by being sneaky and outplaying them with your martial skill advantage.

The Samurai Faction faction features the next four Heroes:

The Orochi:

‘’The Orochi are the Imperial assassins of the Samurai. They roam the battlefield like ghosts, terrorizing and slaughtering those unfortunate enough to cross their path. They offer a good mix of harassment and counter-attacks abilities but require skills and timing to have an effective defense.’’

The Kensei:

‘’Kensei are the living incarnations of Bushido, the Samurai way of the warrior, or as close as once can get. They are slower than other units but have longer melee range.’’

The Shugoki:

‘’Shugoki appear and cumbersome. Don’t let that fool you – they possess the strength of a demon and an unbreakable will.’’
