Base, a retailer from the UK has accidentally revealed the release date for Red Dead Redemption 2 on their site. The game is set to release Tuesday, 26th of September on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The game was planned to release in Fall 2017 so the leaked Red Dead Redemption 2 date matches with the planned release date making it more likely this leak is real. According to the site, Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on a Tuesday, which is the day when videogames and DLC´s usually get released.
Now how do we know this is real? There’s no way to actually find out if this is the actual release date but we can check other games and see if Base has the correct release dates for them. We ofcourse check this and came to the conclusion that Base is quite a credible source/site. Why? Well, we checked games like Crackdown 3, Days gone and a few more and they all had the 31st of December as placeholder, this could potentially mean that Base has received the release date for Red Dead Redemption 2 and accidentally leaked it on their site.
Even though the site is quite a credible source, we aren’t 100% sure if this is the actual release date for Red Dead Redemption 2.
In case you missed it, here´s the official release trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2.
