Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2: Continuum Leaked Ahead of Schedule!

Infinite Warfare's second DLC pack, confirmed to be named Continuum has officially leaked ahead of its scheduled reveal!

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2 is set to be revealed today but as with all things that come towards their point of release, it seems like DLC 2 for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare may have just leaked a few hours earlier than it was supposed to be out in the wild. We knew of all the general outlining for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s DLC 2 but we didn’t know specifics until today. With that in mind, let’s touch on what we know thus far and going into the full and official Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2 reveal.

The first bit of breaking information came in the lines of the title of the second DLC pack to hit Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. As we saw with the official reveal of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare back in May of last year, PlayStation and the PlayStation store have been known to leak things a little bit early (whether intentionally or unintentionally, the world may never know). It just so happens that this is the exact same case as then. The second content pack for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare leaked earlier in the day on the PlayStation store and confirmed the name of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2 to be Continuum. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare: Continuum, not half bad; quite catchy if you were to ask us about our thoughts on the DLC 2 name.

Additionally, while some of the images may be able to be made out from the official store’s tiny image, we do have something to confirm it even further and that is from the official Call of Duty website. Over on the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare official site, there is a recent update for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2: Continuum in which it labels things such as its contents, release date and all things to expect within the upcoming weeks.

Firstly, the release. While Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2 is being officially revealed later today, it was kind of inferred that there would be a two week layover period as Activision usually does things in two week increments (as well as this gives time for marketing, YouTubers to fly out for early capture, and final marketing pushes from gameplay and livestreams). While this inference is completely valid, it’s also completely true in this case as the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2: Continuum release date is currently set for Tuesday, April 18th with the content packs to follow to Xbox One and PC thirty days later. So set your calendars and get ready to grind because we’ve got an ETA on this major content drop!

So what about contents? Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2: Continuum is set to contain the normal four multiplayer maps as well as a new chapter in the zombies saga that Lee Ross and crew are crafting up. The multiplayer maps are currently called: Excess, Turista, Archive and Scrap. We’ll likely get a full look in at all these maps shortly as the information is fully released and officially confirmed but for now, we’ve got a good basis of what to expect. As for Zombies, Willard Wyler is returning with another handcrafted piece of horror for our crew in the map called Shaolin Shuffle, to which we see a few nods already in Rave in the Redwoods, but nothing else thus far. Once again, a trailer will be going live around 1pm EST/10am PST but for the time being, as of this being written, no information other than that has been made available.

While more is undoubtedly on the horizon, it seems like the PlayStation store has done it again and given us Call of Duty fans a little early access sneak peek at what is to come. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2 is now officially confirmed as being Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2: Continuum and we are set with four new multiplayer maps in Excess, Turista, Archive and Scrap as well as holding on to another great episode in the Zombies saga with the map Shaolin Shuffle. Keep it here as all the information unfolds with the full reveal and keep it locked for all our future coverage and guides on Shaolin Shuffle and everything regarding Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 2: Continuum.
