World of Warcraft: Legion is going to be stepping up the graphics game once again with Blizzard discussing their plans to tinker under-the-hood. Certain areas within the game will be receiving an upgrade to the draw distance, Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor being two of them. The best example Blizzard used was with Warlords of Draenor where a PC running on Ultra could render objects 1,300 units away, but with the Legion changes that number will jump up to 3,500 units.

Draw distance isn’t the only thing that will be changing, Blizzard plans to alter the games current Low to Ultra graphics settings to a numerical scale of 1 through 10. This will allow them to make it easier on old setups or really push the limits of bigger rigs. You will no doubt want to ensure your PC is up to scratch to you can take full advantage of these changes.
